We are currently looking for 5 permanent, full time Finishers to join our team at our Saskatoon location.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the purpose of the Finisher is to bring the final product together by assembling all of the parts to create our customers’ trailers safely, efficiently, and in a consistent manner.
Key accountabilities include:
· Review drawings and problem solve when drawings are not available
· Install decaling
· Assemble electrical components
· Install decking
· Install air and brake systems
· Mount tires
· Maintain equipment
· Maintain a clean work area
· Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
· Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Experience using hand tools
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to think critically and problem solve
· Experience working with drawings
· Ability to collaborate with a team
· An understanding of hydraulics is an asset
· Experience with lean methodology is an asset
