We're looking for a friendly, reliable Ice Cream Attendant to join our team for the final month of our summer season.
This is a short-term seasonal position. Training will begin in mid/ end of August, with regular shifts running Monday to Friday afternoons throughout September only. The position concludes at the end of September.
This role offers approximately 20–28 hours per week, depending on business levels and weather. As an outdoor seasonal business, all shifts are weather-dependent and may be adjusted or cancelled due to inclement weather.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable with a short-term commitment, enjoys working independently, and can confidently manage the shop while providing excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Serve ice cream.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash accurately.
- Keep the shop and outdoor areas clean, stocked, and welcoming.
- Restock products and supplies throughout the day.
- Work independently while also supporting the team when needed.
- Follow all food safety and company policies.
- Friendly, positive, and dependable.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to learn and take feedback.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting and cleaning tasks.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required.
- Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset.
Schedule
- Training begins mid/ end of August.
- Monday–Friday afternoons throughout September.
- Approximately 20–28 hours per week.
- Position ends at the end of September.
- Hours are weather-dependent and may vary based on weather and business needs.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
