Railway Labourer – Elevated Rail

Elevated Rail is currently looking for dependable and safety-focused individuals to join our railway operations team. As a Railway Laborer, you will assist with the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway infrastructure while working alongside experienced crews throughout Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support railway construction and maintenance activities by performing a variety of general labor tasks
- Follow all company safety procedures and railway regulations to ensure a safe workplace for employees, customers, and the public
- Assist track crews with daily operations, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as required
- Complete equipment inspections and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues
- Safely operate company vehicles when required
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete assigned projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow project-specific requirements and customer safety standards
- Perform additional duties as required to support railway operations





Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to crew meeting locations
- Ability to successfully complete required medical testing and drug/alcohol screening
- Previous construction, railway, or industrial experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts when required
- Willingness to travel and work at remote project locations
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions throughout the year
- Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn railway practices and procedures

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
