Maple Leaf Disposal is the fastest growing waste company, based in Langley, BC. We are looking for Fencing laborers to join our team. This job requires great customer service, organizational and time management skills, and able to work in varied customer work environments.

As a Fencer/Laborer you will find yourself out in the field at exciting new locations and work sites around the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. This entry-level position sets you up for the opportunities to gain forklift certification, overtime hours, and advancement in the company.

***experience with forklift and driving with a trailer are preferred ***

***Valid Driver’s Licences is Required***

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily pre-and post trips on operating equipment.

· Lift, pull, push and carry temporary fencing to install on customer sites.

· Meet daily deliveries objectives as directed by dispatch/supervisor.

· Follow routes assignments and make sound decision on prioritizing tasks.

· Ensure highest quality of service to all customers.

· Safely operate company’s vehicles with a professional attitude, obey posted speed limits.

· Maintain a respectful attitude in communication with dispatch/supervisor, customers and coworkers via radio, and telephone and informing them of delays, hazards, or issues encountered on-site.

· Available to be part of on call Sunday rotation.





· Document site conditions, obstacles, and completed work using photos or notes as required

· Make practical decisions when sequencing tasks to maximize efficiency while maintaining safety.

· Follow all WorkSafeBC and Maple Leaf Disposal safety procedures, including PPE use, lifting techniques, and working around heavy equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Valid BC Drivers License is required.

· Good communication and customer service skills.

· Knowledge of the lower mainland considered an asset.

· Must be able to work overtime when needed.

· Physically fit for manual labour and dexterity, reaching, climbing, and kneeling.

· Ability to maintain neat daily records (pre-trip inspection, route sheets).

· Inspect vehicle daily and report problems in accordance with company policy.

· Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

· Previous labour or construction experience. (preferred )
