Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately scan, weigh, and dimension packages using approved systems (e.g., NSDS, DWS, handheld scanners).
- Identify and correct billing discrepancies, including incorrect weights, dimensions, service levels, or missing data.
- Ensure packages are processed in compliance with UPS revenue recovery procedures and audit standards.
- Maintain a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail to support revenue integrity.
- Safely lift, move, push,
and position packages following UPS safety methods and ergonomics guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with Operations, Clerks, and Supervisors regarding exceptions or system issues.
- Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and valid scan targets.
- Report damaged packages, irregulars, or system issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Comply with all company policies, safety rules, and security procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry packages up to 70 lbs. weight limits.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use scanning and dimensioning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive workplace.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.
