Continuum Fitness in Westboro is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments, promote patient well-being, and contribute to a holistic approach to health. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's health needs and goals
- Administer acupuncture procedures safely and effectively, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Include adjust care (cupping, craniosacral etc.)
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications to support overall health
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic patient charts (Using Jane app) in compliance with CTCMPAO standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards within the treatment setting
Qualifications
- Professional Designation: Must be a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in good standing with the CTCMPAO.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Insurance: Must hold valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
