Our Surrey based client is seeking a permanent Commercial Property Accountant to join the team.

**Competitive salary in the $90,000 to $95,000 range**

Reporting to the Controller, responsibilities include:

- Accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial properties
- Completing annual budgets, preparing supporting schedules and accurate property forecast and budget information
- Complete year end operating cost adjustments and tenant billings
- Ensure all GST and other legislated taxes and assessments are reconciled and remitted
- Monthly/quarterly surplus funds distribution reports
- Monitor and review accounts receivables/payables accuracy, adjustments, and/or corrections
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

Successful Candidate:

- Previous full-cycle accounting experience an asset
- 2+ years commercial property accounting experience
- Strong accounting systems and MS Excel experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
