Take 5 Oil Change Ajax is hiring a reliable and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, lead technicians and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team during assigned shifts
- Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services
- Train employees and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Recommend appropriate vehicle maintenance services
- Assist with opening, closing, inventory and daily paperwork
- Handle customer concerns and act as manager on duty when required
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient shop
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of automotive or quick-lube experience
- Ability to properly service common vehicles
- Knowledge of recommended intervals for common maintenance services
- Solid leadership, communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence preferred
