Levert group is seeking experienced haul truck operators to work in a surface mining environment in the Northern Ontario area. We are currently looking for experienced Rock Truck Operators to work rotations of 7/7 and 14/14 with our client in the mining industry. Payrate $33.83 hr

What you need:
To qualify, candidates must have experience operating haul trucks in 100 to 350 tonnes the job setting is an open pit and the candidates must be Health & Safety oriented individuals, minimum class G2 driver's license.
The Haul Truck Operator will be responsible for the secure and effective operation of mining haul truck with a capacity of 100 to 350 tonnes. The following rigid frame models are used on site: Caterpillar Wiggles, Graders, 745,777, 795, 798AC

Responsibilities:

- Safely and effectively operate large capacity haul truck, taking into consideration weather and road conditions;
- Perform daily pre-start and post operational inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company guidelines;
- Monitor equipment operation including gauges,



dials and other indicators on the haul trucks, reporting any issues to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher;
- Communicate clearly and effectively using radio, hand signals and/or the WENCO system;
- Follow and comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures including those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act;
- Follow defined practices to assure quality, safety and housekeeping standards;
- Promote a positive health, safety and environment culture and the Internal Responsibility System.
