Bag Check Attendant

Summary

Reporting to the Team Lead, Fan Services, the Bag Check Attendant is responsible for collecting, storing, and returning bags and oversized items dropped off by guests to Commonwealth Stadium for all Edmonton Elks home games. With accurate organization, the Bag Check Attendant will provide efficient and prompt customer service to all guests before, during and after each game.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

· Communicate and assist guests with the bag check process in a friendly and positive manner.

· Maintain a calm and respectful demeanor when assisting fans in situations that need to be de-escalated.

· Accurately collect payments and manage and track receipts and claim vouchers.

· Organize bags within the numerical order system.

· Return bags and oversized items using the numerical order system to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

· Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

· Provide general information and assistance to fans as needed.

· Additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications & Skills:





· Able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or crowded environments.

· Robust customer service skills.

· Excellent verbal communication skills coupled with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a variable workload.

· Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.

· Able to stand and lift bags repeatedly over the course of a shift.

· Able to lift 50lbs.

· A valid criminal record check is required for this position.

Schedule:

· Day/Evening/Weekend/Holidays

· May 29th, June 20th, July 9th, July 17th, August 1st, August 15th, August 21st, September 12th, September 26th, October 16th
