Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $22–$30 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer / Drafting Technician for one of our clients in Pickering, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 2D and 3D CAD systems and a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure design accuracy
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Assist with nesting and programming for sheet metal production




- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions

Qualifications

- Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems is required
- Sheet metal design experience preferred
- Lantek software experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
