Job Description
- Prescription data entry (KROLL proficiency an asset).
- Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory (drug orders).
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
- Prescription compounding.
- Pill pack assembly.
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing pharmacy supplies, cleaning.
- Administrative duties including but not limited to; cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks.
- Support daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients.
Education/Qualifications
- Pharmacy Assistant certificate from a recognized Canadian College OR will consider applicants with at least a one year retail Canadian pharmacy experience in lieu of certificate.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role is required.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
Pay based on qualification and experience.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shifts
- Day shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays as needed
