Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. as a combination service truck operator mixed with new construction projects. Kelly Electric has 20 years in Edmonton and can provide very reliable hours as we have a wide and diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and light industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety protocols to ensure high-quality work and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or industrial facilities to install new wiring or upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations,



and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.

Skills

- Proven experience as an electrician with a valid journeyman license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for complex electrical systems.
- Experience working in industrial environments with low voltage systems and automation controls.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and electrical code compliance.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
