Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with efficiency and care, ensuring all food is fresh, appealing, and served at the correct temperature
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, utensils, and food stations, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Replenish buffet or serving stations with fresh items as needed to ensure continuous availability for guests
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruits, assembling breakfast plates, or setting up displays
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu options, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper hygiene practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy breakfast hours
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; familiarity with breakfast service is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve direct guest interaction
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee and beverage service is advantageous
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices essential for maintaining quality and safety standards
