Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team and lead the cost estimation process for diverse construction projects. Duties

- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using advanced estimating software such as HeavyBid.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather accurate pricing data and refine estimates.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions that maximize project profitability.
- Develop comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline costs, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Review project drawings and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.




- Utilize Bluebeam for plan review, markup, and collaboration to ensure precise communication of project details.
- Apply strong project management skills to coordinate estimate development phases efficiently from initial concept through final submission.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a solid understanding of construction processes and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate cost analyses.
- Strong knowledge of Bluebeam for plan review and collaboration purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and deadline adherence.
- In-depth understanding of construction estimating techniques, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.
- Extensive construction experience across various types of projects is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
