A residential care organization is seeking a skilled IT Operations Associate employee, to be an integral part of a busy, dynamic, and growing team. We provide a home for people with complex special needs in a group home setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced knowledge of formulas and functions. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, create spreadsheets, and generate reports using Excel.
- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Process Automation: Develop computer automated processes using Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint to streamline operations.
- Capacity Planning: Oversee network capacity planning to support our business growth effectively.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Security Enhancement: Implement network optimization strategies and enhance network security measures, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest security threats and implement necessary safeguards.
- Data Center Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate and provide technical support for our employees.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Reporting:



Prepare regular reports on network performance and security for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to network security and data privacy.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 3-year college diploma or university degree in Computer Sciences or related program or 5-years IT experience and appropriate professional certifications.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification, or equivalent Microsoft Program Experience.
- Network certifications are considered an asset.

Note: This position is fully on-site in Barrie, Ontario.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
