As a Parts Advisor, you will:
Maintain optimal inventory levels for truck and transport parts.
Assist technicians and service advisors in securing required parts to complete work orders.
Provide counter support for parts inquiries from shop technicians and walk-in customers.
Offer phone support to customers regarding parts availability and orders.
Occasionally deliver parts as required.
Source non-stock parts for service jobs efficiently.
Receive and stock parts for shop and service vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of pending orders and receipts.
Prepare requisition orders to replenish inventory.
Track and prepare parts invoices.
Document and report discrepancies in the inventory system.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Preferably bilingual (French and English). In this role, you may be required to serve clients or occasionally read and speak in English (approximately 25% of the time).
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
1-2+ years of experience in the trucking or automotive industry.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Parts Department.
A valid G License.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Tech-savvy with the ability to analyze and interpret basic parts department reports, perform internet searches, and utilize parts catalogs.
