Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a smooth workflow to deliver exceptional patient care. The Dental Office Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for both staff and patients, fostering a professional and welcoming environment. Prior experience in dental or medical office management, along with proficiency in relevant software and medical terminology, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling
- Maintain electronic medical records using Dentrix or similar practice management software
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, OSHA standards,



and privacy laws (HIPAA)
- Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and supply inventory management
- Assist with patient relations to resolve concerns and improve overall patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support operational needs and improve workflow processes
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance office productivity and quality of care

Experience

- Proven experience managing a dental or medical office environment is required
- Familiarity with Abeldent.
- Strong background in human resources management within healthcare settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing practices, and insurance procedures
- Supervisory experience overseeing staff in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and compliance standards in healthcare environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Dental office: 5 years (required)
