Ideal Candidate: The Blowology Method is offering a chair rental opportunity for an established hairstylist with an existing clientele who is looking to elevate their space and work in a luxury, wellness-focused beauty environment.

We are a scalp therapy spa and blow dry bar located in Midtown Toronto, specializing in head spa services, scalp therapy, luxury blowouts, treatments, styling, and elevated self-care experiences.

Duties

- Deliver high-quality hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client needs and preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully, offering professional advice, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a protected environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and boost sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients,



processing payments, and answering inquiries
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills to encourage repeat visits and positive reviews
- Keep your station organized and well-maintained to promote efficiency and professionalism during each appointment

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally by understanding client needs and preferences
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Previous experience with retail sales or front desk duties is preferred but not required
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, eager to contribute to a lively team atmosphere
