Overview
We are seeking dedicated, reliable and compassionate team players, Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) & Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience working in a long term care community or a similar work setting . This role involves providing high-quality patient care, medication administration and supporting care plans for seniors. The RPNs & LPNs will utilize their expertise as part of the nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a professional and caring environment. Vic Staffing Solutions managing partners are nurses with 50+ years of combined healthcare experience. These are long term permanent full-time 37.5 hours a week nursing positions in long term care in British Columbia. These are not travel nursing positions.

What We Offer & Require:

- Relocation costs to Vancouver Island & Accommodation provided if required
- Valid RPN or LPN license in BC which we will reimburse to you
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification

- 1 year nursing experience working in long term care or a similar work setting
- Ability to supervise and provide work direction to the nursing team
- Deliver patient care while following physician orders and established protocols
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including conflict resolutions skills
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses with the care team
- Provide wound care, pain management and other specialized treatments
- Support residents with activities of daily living and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Able to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with residents and team members
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
