POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cleaner – Nights to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming setting for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized and sanitary workspace, supporting the overall operations of our organization.

WAGE: $17.85 hourly

VACANCY: Vacant Role (1)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Sweep, mop, scrub and dust childcare facility program areas
- Stripping of floors
- Clean and disinfect all areas including washrooms




- Assist in prep work of wooden floor system
- Ability to work from ladders in a safe fashion
- Laundry duties may be required
- Ability to learn how to operate equipment safely
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE POSITION:

- Secondary School Diploma
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently

EXPERIENCE:

- Previous cleaning experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Uniform is required for each shift
- Work completed primarily indoors, some outdoor work
- May require some heavy lifting and ladder work
- Supports full-time cleaners
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Day shifts
