CanWest is seeking a recent Shop Mechanic at our Leduc location.

Essential responsibilities and job duties to include

- Checking engine oil in vehicles and equipment
- Servicing fleet vehicles, equipment, and immediate work area
- Repairing diesel engines, and various others
- Move tools, equipment and materials as required
- Welding, electrical, and trailers

Qualifications and Requirements

- *Ticket or the equivalent experience is required for this position
- *1+ years experience in Mechanical
- Must be able to work independently
- Class 5 license or greater is required
- Must have your own tools
- Welding will be considered an asset
- Preferred experience in wiring breaks and small engines repairs
