This is NOT an employee position.

We are seeking experienced, self-employed cleaning professionals who operate as Independent Contractors.

As an Independent Contractor with Leaside Clean, you will:

- Choose which cleaning assignments you accept.
- Set your own availability and schedule.
- Provide your own vehicle, professional equipment, cleaning supplies, and business expenses.
- Be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and government remittances.
- Be free to provide services for other companies and clients.
- Perform cleaning services independently while maintaining Leaside Clean's quality standards.

The Role

Position: Independent Contractor – Residential Cleaner

Location: Toronto, ON

Primary Service Areas:

- Leaside
- Bennington Heights
- Parkview Hills
- Governor's Bridge
- Moore Park
- Mount Pleasant East
- Davisville Village

Hours: You choose! (Ideal availability: 30–40 hours per week.)

What You'll Be Doing:

- Residential home cleanings
- Deep cleans
- Move-in / Move-out services
- Post-renovation and post-construction cleanups

What We Require:

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

✅ Minimum 3+ years of paid professional residential and/or commercial cleaning experience.

✅ Operate as an Independent Contractor.

✅ Your own complete set of skilled-grade cleaning equipment and supplies, including a vacuum, mop, and professional cleaning products. This is a firm requirement and is not optional.

✅ Your own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence.

✅ Access to a smartphone and active email address for scheduling and communication.

✅ Strong English communication skills.

✅ Dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional cleaning results.





✅ Two verifiable professional references from previous cleaning employers or clients.

✅ Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000. Proof of insurance is required before accepting any cleaning assignments.

✅ A satisfactory criminal background check is required. Applicants are responsible for obtaining and paying for their own criminal background check through Leaside Clean's approved screening provider before onboarding.

Please note: Applications without professional cleaning experience, professional cleaning equipment and supplies, Commercial General Liability Insurance, or a willingness to obtain and pay for the required criminal background check will not be considered. We are looking for experienced Independent Contractors who are ready to hit the ground running.
