Responsibilities
- Safely remove and install tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth; recommend replacements when necessary
- Perform wheel balancing, and other related maintenance tasks to optimize vehicle performance
- Conduct heavy lifting of tires and wheels regularly to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Support ongoing vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to ensure overall safety and reliability
Experience
- Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience highly preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency with tools
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes including tire installation, rotation, and balancing
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of sales techniques to assist customers in selecting the right tires and services
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety protocols
