Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Punjabi Home Support Worker to provide exceptional in-home care to clients within the Punjabi-speaking community. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and instructions
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and engaging environment
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable home
- Support clients with mobility challenges through safe transfer techniques and heavy lifting when necessary
- Document care activities, report any changes in health or behavior,



and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare professionals

Experience

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Proven experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, dementia care, or hospice care highly valued
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and caregiving responsibilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks associated with caregiving
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning routines and maintaining a hygienic workplace
- Excellent communication skills in Punjabi; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
