Hotshot Coffee Sleeves Ltd. is one of Canada's leading manufacturers of custom printed beverage packaging. We manufacture custom printed coffee sleeves, paper cups and plastic cups for cafés, restaurants, distributors and national brands throughout Canada and the United States.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Screen Printing Machine Operator to join our growing production team.
About the Position
This position involves industrial screen printing on plastic beverage cups using automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Please note: This is not a textile or garment screen printing position.
Experience with industrial screen printing on plastic products, containers, or other cylindrical items is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate industrial screen printing equipment.
- Review work orders and production specifications.
- Set up printing jobs and make machine adjustments as required.
- Monitor print quality throughout production runs.
- Mix inks and maintain proper colour consistency and viscosity.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot printing and equipment issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work closely with other production staff to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Secondary (high)
school graduation certificate.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial screen printing experience.
- Experience operating industrial screen printing equipment is preferred.
- Experience printing on plastic cups, plastic containers, or other cylindrical plastic products is considered a solid asset.
- Experience with UV screen printing inks is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Strong attention to detail and colour accuracy.
- Reliable, organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish colours accurately.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Job Details
- Location: Burnaby, BC
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Start Date: As early as September 1, 2026
