As Coulson Aviation continues to grow, we are looking for an Aerospace Designer to join our Design team in Port Alberni, BC. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to develop structural and mechanical systems that enhance aircraft performance, reliability, and operational capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Design, plan, and integrate structural and mechanical systems using CATIA V5.
- Support structural modifications associated with avionics and electrical upgrades.
- Develop mechanical installations and repairs.
- Prepare design documentation in accordance with applicable aerospace regulations and airworthiness standards.
- Collaborate with avionics,



electrical, and other teams to support aircraft modifications.
- Prepare reports and technical data packages for design approval and certification.
- Provide ongoing technical support for new and existing designs and products.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

- A degree in Aerospace Engineering.
- At least three years of aerospace design experience.
- At least three years of experience using ENOVIA and CATIA V5.
- Experience with wiring installations and avionics mounting.
- Knowledge of structural clipping techniques and their effect on aircraft integrity.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, sheet-metal design, and machined components.
- Knowledge of aircraft design inertias for loading.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
