GTA Endoscopy Services Inc. is an endoscopy clinic founded to relieve extensive wait times in the Scarborough and West Durham regions for endoscopic procedures and colon screening. We offer the expertise and experience of our staff of specialists and pride ourselves on providing the highest level of care for patients from all GTA staff. We are looking for individuals who can work collaboratively in a team-setting.

JOB DETAILS

GTA Endoscopy Services Inc. is looking for registered nurses to work in the procedure / recovery room on a part-time basis (8-12 shifts per month ideally). Candidates must be available on Mondays. Please do not apply if you are not a Registered nurse. Experience within the job responsibilities would be beneficial; however, we will provide the necessary training to fulfill the job responsibilities. Responsibilities will include assisting in endoscopy procedures including colonoscopy and gastroscopy and/or providing recovery room coverage.



Relevant experience would include endoscopy, perioperative care or med/surg.

Position Qualifications:

-Registered Nurse

-Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses

-Current BCLS Certification

-Current ACLS certification or willingness to complete

-Previous experience in the operating room or in assisting in endoscopy procedures is an asset

-Recovery room experience is an asset

-IV skills are an asset

-Track record of good attendance, reliability, punctuality and strong interpersonal skills are required.
