The Chance:

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Fee-For-Service (FFS) Respiratory Therapists to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a unique opportunity to manage your own practice while contributing to the well-being of patients in your region. You will be responsible for providing a range of respiratory therapy services, with compensation based on a fixed rate for each type of service performed. We are also looking for clinicians to join our team full time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory therapy services as described in your consulting services agreement.
- Reliably, diligently, and honestly perform and discharge services to the best of your ability, in accordance with professional standards and integrity.
- Complete each service in a timely manner.
- Maintain active certification and registration with applicable professional and/or regulatory governing bodies.
- Maintain liability (or other professional) insurance.
- Maintain a clean criminal record and notify ALHHC immediately of any changes.
- Cooperate fully with ALHHC regarding any review, audit, or investigation related to the agreement.
- Be responsible for maintaining all required certification, registration, and licensing requirements.
- Abide by all privacy, data protection, and health data laws.

Contractor Requirements:





- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in valuable standing with expertise in respiratory therapy.
- FFS: Ability to provide services as outlined in the consulting services agreement.
- FFS: Recognized as an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of ALHHC.
- FFS: Solely responsible for payment of all fees, wages, salaries, federal and provincial taxes, and withholdings, including income tax, Employment Insurance, and Canadian Pension Plan premiums if applicable.
- FFS: Responsible for all your own expenses in connection with the services provided, except for reasonable receipted expenses with prior written approval from ALHHC.
- Will not be subject to direction from ALHHC as to the manner in which the services are to be performed.
- Willingness to store equipment inside your home if required for the role (e.g., for Oxygen services).

Compensation:

- Monthly payment based on a fixed rate for each service type, as described in Schedule A of the Agreement.
- Invoices for services are due on the last day of each calendar month in arrears and payable within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- Full time team members are paid salary and on call in a biweekly cycle
