As a Security Engineering Manager, you will guide a team in a hands-on capacity, developing technical solutions and enhancing security. Your responsibilities will include coding, reviewing, and mentoring, while driving security compliance programs like SOC 2 and FedRAMP.
You'll adapt roadmaps to meet changing demands and foster a productive environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create adaptive roadmaps for security initiatives
- Own security compliance programs and audit evidence
- Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent
- Lead impactful technical solutions for security posture
- Participate actively in code reviews and projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hiring and developing engineers
- Solid AWS security experience on EC2 and managed services
- Proficient in Terraform, Git Ops, and autoscaling
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms like ELK/Open Search
- Familiarity with Ruby or Python as coding languages
