The Candidate is required to have:

1. Recent Canadian Public Accounting experience of at least 3 year;

2. CPA or CA designation or working towards it;

3. Knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards and strong Assurance knowledge a must

4. Working knowledge of HST, Payroll, WSIB, T4, T5 etc.

5. Ability to prepare personal and corporate tax returns independently

5. Working knowledge of CaseWare, Quickbooks (QBD and QBO), TaxPrep (or Profile or other tax software)

6. Preparation of financial statements using Caseware/Caseview

Soft Skills:

1. Work effectively alone as well as in a team environment

2. Ability to manage clients without detailed supervision

3. Strong team player

4. Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time
