Role Description

This full-time, on-site Red Seal Electrician role is based in Saskatoon, SK. The electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential new builds, renovations, commercial bays, following applicable codes and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, running and terminating wiring and conduits, installing panels and equipment, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing routine maintenance. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, apprentices, and other trades, accurately documenting work performed, and ensuring tools, materials, and job sites are kept organized and secure.



The electrician will be expected to respond to service calls and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and customer service.

Qualifications

- Valid Red Seal Electrician certification and eligibility to work in Saskatchewan.
- Strong experience in residential electrical work, including new construction and renovations.
- Experience with commercial bay development
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical panels, circuits, and machinery.
- Solid knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and all relevant safety regulations and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in planning, installation, and testing.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with other trades and clients.
- Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, lifting, working at heights, and using hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Saskatoon.
- Previous experience mentoring apprentices and contributing to a positive, inclusive work culture is an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$36.50 per hour
