Field Service Mechanic/Technician

TechServ is a service provider for all floor care, material handling and refuse/recycling equipment to the 'large retail' industry. Currently, TecServ has 5 branch locations and an ever-growing Affiliate Service Provider Network nation-wide. TecServ's main location is located in Blackwood, NJ and is part of Karcher North America, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance. KNA is comprised of 6 integrated companies- Windsor Industries, ProChem, C-Tech, Tecserv, Graco and Century 400. We are currently seeking a self-motivated Field Service Mechanic/Technician to join our high caliber team of professionals in the Virginia area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Daily interaction with customers providing the highest levels of service and productivity
- Recognizing and securing additional revenue opportunities
- Responsible for van inventory and accuracy
- Continuous responsive communication with Dispatch call center to receive assignments and report status




- Responsible for safety of van and for assuring that regular vehicle maintenance checks are performed
- Daily completion and submission of documentation (work orders, parts replenishment, time sheets, etc.)

Requirements

- Repairing and maintaining Floor Care equipment (scrubbers, burnishers & extractors)
- Repairing Material Handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors & dock plates) a plus
- 2-3 years of basic electro mechanical exp (AC/DC circuit exp a plus)
- Service industry exp a plus
- Clean driving record
- Works well in a team atmosphere and independently
- Good oral and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
