Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring that all food served meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety protocols, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant or banquet environment. Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation of banquet and event meals, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or service staff
- Assist with meal plating, garnishing, and presentation to ensure visual appeal




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or catering environment
- Robust knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent serving skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service principles is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to different meal types and service styles, including banquet events

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Experience:

- Cooking in a professional kitchen: 2 years (preferred)
