Job Summary:
West Coast Pre Fab is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding components to assemble various structures. The ideal candidate will have welding experience and have completed their C Level or higher. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and perks.

Duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate welding technique based on the project requirements
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting
- Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts
- Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed

Skills:

- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings




- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for metalworking tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Standard Day Shift Schedule:

- 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Shift time 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Standard Afternoon Shift Schedule:

- 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Shift time 3:30PM - 1:30 AM
- Monday to Thursday
- Weekends as needed
- Night Shift Premium
