Cambrian College’s School of Engineering Technology requires part time professors to teach within its Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship programs commencing in January 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to teach in one of the following courses:
- Installation Methods III
- Electronics II
PLEASE NOTE: CANDIDATE MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TEACH WEEKDAYS BETWEEN 8AM-5PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Must have an Advanced Diploma within the field of Electrical Engineering, or a Journeyperson Certificate in a related field. (A copy of educational documents and certificates must be submitted with application - *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
- Five years of relevant work experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
- Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhancestudent progress.
- Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
- Ability to function within a team environment.
Additional Assets/Preferred:
- Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
