We are currently seeking a Production Laborer to join our Kitchen (Stuffing) Department.

Production Laborers work alongside the operators on our main production lines, and assist in loading materials into industrial grinders, and mixers, to break down fresh and frozen ingredients to prepare for next stage production.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Review and follow daily production schedules to ensure order quantities are met in an efficient and timely manner.
- Inspect raw and cooked materials for quality, defects, and product consistency. Measure and prepare ingredients, materials, and casings according to recipe & product specifications. Verify date, product, and allergen labels are correct.
- Assemble and prepare production materials and equipment.
- Unload correct amount of boxed ingredients and/or tubs of product onto conveyor belt to be transferred to grinder/mixers.
- Monitor equipment gauges while in operation.
- Tie and hand finished products from production lines.
- Complete daily production paperwork & documentation.
- Cover and label tubs (product name/date) and transfer to different production areas or coolers for storage.




- Disassemble equipment for Sanitation department to clean work area during batch modifications, change of species, or end of shift.
- End of day dumping (raw materials) for overnight defrost or tempering purposes.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume production environment with strict adherence to all GMP, CFIA, and Food Safe requirements.
- Assist in cross-training and/or onboarding of department new hires.

Other Information:

- This position is repetitive in nature and requires you to be physically fit, with the ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 27.22 kilos (60lbs).
- Combination of standing and walking throughout shift, working in cool refrigerated environments (1° to 7°C).
- Attention to detail is critical. Ability to work under tight deadlines is considered an asset.
- Steel-toed footwear is required for this position.
- First Aid certification is preferred.

Shift time: (DAYS) 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday to Friday
Job Type: Permanent full-time (40 hours per week, overtime available).
