Stillwater Custom Homes & Renovations — Victoria, BC

Compensation: $40-$45/hr depending on experience

Reports to: Construction Manager

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm

Stillwater Custom Homes builds high-performance custom homes and renovations across Greater Victoria. We’re a tight-knit team that takes our craft seriously — and we’re looking for a Site Lead who does too.

The Role

You’ll run the day-to-day on site — leading a team of carpenters and apprentices, coordinating with the Construction Manager and Project Manager, and making sure every build meets our quality standard. Hands-on work, real leadership, and a direct impact on what gets built.

What You’ll Do

- Lead site set-up, daily operations, and project close-out
- Perform and lead framing, building envelope, and finishing work
- Mentor carpenters and apprentices on site
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Project Manager on schedule, budget, and scope
- Maintain safety standards and daily documentation
- Uphold Stillwater’s quality and client care standards on every project

What We’re Looking For

- Journeyman Carpenter (Red Seal an asset)
- 5+ years in residential construction with site leadership experience
- Strong finishing and framing skills
- Reliable vehicle and own tools
- Someone who leads by example and takes pride in their work
