Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors or those with disabilities, and who possess a strong sense of empathy and professionalism. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable workplace
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, changes in condition, or concerns to family members or healthcare providers
- Assist with specialized care needs such as working with individuals with disabilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications




- Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Collect specimens
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Cook
- Snow removal to clear client pathway

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, senior care, or home care preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
- Experience working with people with disabilities and eye-gaze a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when necessary
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
- Certification in medication administration or nursing background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
