Clare McFaul LTC (Centre Hastings) LP, a 128-bed long-term care home, is an exciting new project that will be dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents in partnership with UniversalCare Canada Inc., our family members, valued employees and community partners. Residents will be admitted in the Summer of 2026.

Our team is currently hiring for a new vacancy, a permanent part-time Registered Dietician.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-Planning, organizing, directing and evaluating residents’ nutritional care, including assessments and reassessments in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, the resident, the residents’ family members, caregivers, Physician and employees.
-Identifying areas of risk related to nutritional care, dietary services and hydration and implements interventions to mitigate the identified risks.
-Evaluates nutritional adequacy of dietary intake and identifies residents with high nutritional priority.
-Providing education and/or nutritional counselling for residents, family members and employees.
-Participates in audits and generates site visit reports.
-Ensures compliance with organizational standards, the collective agreement, as applicable and all relevant regulations,



and/or legislative requirements and strategic initiatives.
-Participates in meetings and maintains an organized system of records management. -Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
-A post-secondary degree (3 Years) from an accredited Food and Nutrition Program.
-Registered Dietician with the College of Dieticians of Ontario.
-Minimum two (2) years experience in a long-term care setting.
-Demonstrated knowledge of Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care dietary and nutrition regulations. ---Solid relationship building abilities and highly proficient planning and organizing skills.
-Must posses excellent written and oral communication skills.
-All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector check.
