Job Description:

Palliser Sales Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Red Seal Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of agricultural or heavy equipment. This role requires an individual with strong technical skills, a passion for working with large machinery, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural or heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, combines, loaders, excavators, and more.

- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify issues and perform repairs.

- Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

- Test equipment after repairs to confirm secure and proper operation

- Use diagnostic software, schematics, technical manuals and specialized tools

- Maintain accurate service records for repairs, parts and labour

- Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area

- Support and mentor apprentices when needed

Qualifications:

- Red Seal Certification as an Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems





- Experience with diagnostic software and specialized tools

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Assets:

- Welding and fabrication experience

- Familiarity with inventory systems and work order software.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment (up to 60-70 lbs).

- Standing, walking, bending, and crouching for extended periods.

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions as needed.

Pay: $51,535.00-$110,154.00 per year
