What We’re Looking For
Summit is currently seeking Casual / On-Call Class 1 Drivers who are available for occasional weekend shifts. This is a part-time, non-guaranteed position intended to support our team when regular drivers are unavailable. If you're dependable, flexible, and looking to pick up extra work on weekends, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience
- Experience with Transfer, Quad, and Pony trailers
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, and reading)

Preferred Qualifications





- Load securement training
- Hours of service training

Duties & Responsibilities

- Safely pick up and deliver materials in a timely manner
- Operate manual transmission vehicles including Tandem & Pup, Tri-Tri, Truck & Transfer, and End Dump
- Manage all aspects of pickups and deliveries: loading/unloading, securement, equipment inspection, and safe transport
- Maintain delivery vehicles: inspections, cleanliness, and basic maintenance
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately
- Record delivery details, hours of service, mileage, and fuel usage
- Report equipment or vehicle issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and Summit policies
- Perform other duties as required
- Paid Key-to-Key

Salary & Benefits

- Competitive wages based on experience

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 45.00 per week
