- Maintaining and repairing (or arranging for the repair of shop floor machines.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machine breakdowns.
- Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations.
- Participating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines.
- Follow up with contractors/suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and received on a timely basis.
- Prioritizing work schedule to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Maintaining and repairing physical plant structure.
- Health and Safety enhancements to the machines and plant.
- 5-S Activities which include health & safety awareness/initiatives.
- Adherence at all times to all Company policies and procedures.
- Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Maintaining a clean and environmentally protected work area.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Gr.
12 diploma and Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright, with experience maintaining and repairing CNC and conventional machinery.
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to wear the required PPE.
- Candidates must meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and tools as required
