Looking for a full-time/long-term person to join our staff team to deliver a ministry-oriented adventure-based children’s program and complete management of community-focused licensed after-school care. The position could start immediately, but no later than September.
The Children’s Ministry Director/Program Manager will provide spiritual care and full management of THRIVE licensed Out-of-School Care Program according to the vision, goals, and standards set out by THRIVE and Interior Health Licensing Authority.
The Children’s Ministry Director/Program Manager will create bridges and instigate relationship-building opportunities between Thrive and Thrive families, as well as with the greater community through events and community involvement.
The Ideal candidate will be passionate about being part of the team of this local Christian ministry, exemplifying passion, energy, and ability to lead children in outdoor recreation and faith-based settings. Having proven leadership, administration, and organizational skills is an asset.
Management staff starts at $22-25/hr with group health benefits and incentives available after 6 months, with yearly raises. Relocation assistance is available as well.

Qualifications:
- Christian ministry training or experience
- 20 hours or more of child-related training**
- Class 4 driver's license**
- Food Protected Certificate**
- Emergency child or emergency community first aid certificate **
- Experience leading children in recreational group settings such as Bible camps, clubs or sports programs.
- Clear criminal record check
- Proven leadership experience in faith-based group settings
