Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Retail Finance Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee all financial and bookkeeping functions within our retail operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance, and financial health. Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
- Maintain accurate financial records by performing account analysis and account reconciliation regularly
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting to support retail operations
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review
- Research grant and cost savings opportunities,



submit for approval and manage through to completion
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies across all financial transactions

Qualifications

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting within a retail environment or small business setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of regulations related to retail
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret financial data clearly and communicate findings effectively
- Prior experience with budgeting and financial planning is a plus
