Expand Staffing Solutions is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Refiner / Machine Operator to join our client's food manufacturing team in Richmond, BC. This role is ideal for individuals with previous food manufacturing or food processing experience who are comfortable operating production equipment and maintaining high quality and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

- Location: Richmond, BC (specific location to be discussed during interview)
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Industry: Food Manufacturing
- Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down refining, grinding, and food processing equipment.
- Monitor machine controls, gauges, temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure productive production.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product consistency, texture, and quality standards.
- Measure ingredients and monitor processing parameters according to production requirements.
- Collect product samples during production and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and specification compliance.
- Record production data, machine readings, batch information, and quality control results accurately.
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Adhere to all food safety, health,



and workplace safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in the food manufacturing or food processing industry is required.
- Experience operating food processing or production machinery is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to monitor equipment, troubleshoot minor operational issues, and maintain accurate production records.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots are required.
