We now have an opening for a experienced Fabricator & welder.

Duties Include:

Fabrication, Cutting, and Welding of aluminum and steel frame sign structures, base plates, pylon signs, pole sections, sign cabinets, aluminum channel letters, awnings, and architectural structures.

- Interpretation of detailed shop drawings, artistic renderings, conceptual drawings, and plans to bring to reality with efficiency and structural integrity.
- Able to read and interpret structural fabrication drawings.

Communicating effectively with the Production Manager and co-workers.

Keeping track of time sheets on jobs including labor and materials for each project.

Comply with all safety requirements, work rules and regulations.

- Have creative interest in the final product and finished look to ensure client satisfaction.

Background, skills and training

- Must have at least 2 years of fabrication with Aluminum
- Must have previous job experience of 3+ years in Steel Welding
- advanced knowledge of welding aluminum is considered an asset.




- Have knowledge and training in metal fabrication, cutting materials bending, riveting, bonding, and an interest in the creativity of the sign industry.
- Must be self-motivated, passionate about your work and able to get the job done on time and with the upmost level of quality.
- You will require creative problem solving skills and be able to overcome challenges.
- Must be clean, organized with tools, and able to maintain paperwork. (Basic Computer skills an asset).
- Must be punctual
- Must have availability to do day shifts Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30pm

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- We are looking for a welder who can hit the ground running and start working immediately with little supervision. Must have at least 3 years of work experience (not including school or training). Must be fully capable of reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

- Steel welding: 3 years (required)
- Aluminum Welding: 3 years (required)

Language:

- English (required)
