Duties

- Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid flushes to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, cranes, or other industrial machinery when required for vehicle or equipment servicing.




- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements

- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related mechanical field; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems combined with familiarity with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, or farm machinery is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics, welding, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment is desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and perform maintenance on various types of machinery safely.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate repair needs and solutions to clients.
- Certification or training in automotive technology or heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
