About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer to join the AX8 development team. This role focuses on the design, evaluation, assembly, and testing of a 400V, 16 kW DC in-wheel motor specifically developed for the AX8 Electric UTV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize the design of DC in-wheel motors (400V, 16 kW).
- Oversee the winding, potting, and assembly processes of the motor.
- Test motor performance against design specifications, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with the broader engineering team to iterate and refine motor assembly and integration.
- Provide guidance on materials, potting compounds, and manufacturing best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical,
or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with motor winding, potting, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with high-voltage DC motor systems (400V, 16 kW).
- Proficiency in motor design analysis tools and testing protocols.
- Strong collaboration skills and a track record of working on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
