The Coffee Exchange is a locally owned specialty coffeehouse in the heart of downtown Windsor. We're passionate about exceptional coffee, outstanding customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both our customers and our team. We're currently looking for a part-time Barista to join us!

Position Details

- Part-time: Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Shifts are primarily afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Weekend availability is required
- Additional hours may be available to help cover vacations and busy periods

We understand that many of our employees are students, and we do our best to accommodate school schedules while ensuring coverage for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

- Previous food service experience is required
- Food Handler Certification is required




- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of a busy café workplace

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Prepare espresso beverages, coffee, tea, and food items according to company standards
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about our products
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process payments
- Restock supplies and help maintain inventory throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment while following all food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality and service
